Tennis Juniors

Junior tennis is thriving at Risbygate Sports Club with around 100 juniors playing tennis and receiving coaching. Coaching sessions for juniors are run every weekday after school and on Saturday mornings.

We enter junior teams into the Suffolk National League competition, from 8 & Under through to 16 & Under. We wish them luck for the coming season and thank the captains and coaching team for their help running them. We also have a team playing at National level who won the National Under12s 2020 competition.

Our coaching team also encourages juniors to enter LTA competitions around the East of England and nationally.

Paul Hope runs plenty of internal competitions for the juniors, including the Road to Wimbledon LTA competition for 11-14 year olds which culminates in national finals held on the grass courts at Wimbledon.
